This is not a San Francisco style sourdough! Instead, we use our own process to create a truly unique delicacy. After forming these special loaves they ferment for up to 48 hours before being baked in a hearth oven. The robust and sensual sour flavor is a derivative of the mountain environment, unique to the Sierra Nevada’s. Additionally, our sour batard is free of chemical additives.
